Jouwayne JR Ricketts is a musical oasis yet to be discovered
Born December 1993 in the bread basket parish of Jamaica(St Elizabeth)
He move to Portmore at the age of three, attended Cumberland High School 2009.He was already doing music from the age of nine after the lost of his father he took comfort in writing song s singing on the church choir and a member of the school band .
His first studio recording was with the group Invation KC,T Step and himself at Little House Studio in Pasagefort Portmore.
He is currently in the studio working on his debut EP to be release in time for summer 2015 by independent label Jafrican Music on Itunes,Amazon,Emusic Spotify most of the Major digital music stores.
When JR is not in the studio you can find him in his community with radio in hand listening to music,his musical preference range from Vybes Kartel,Tarus Riley Pop Caan Junior Gong Lil Wayne Queen Ifricka and Bob Marley.
He is a very dynamic performer who perform at various community stage shows JCDC Band compitition and Magnum Kings and Queen.
He is currently Working with Jafrican Music on a development deal to further enhance his career.
